About Us
Ridna Shkola's “Ukrainian As A Second Language” program provides students with the skills they need to read, write and speak in Ukrainian. Our program also incorporates a cultural studies component, and fosters understanding and a sense of pride in the rich cultural traditions of the Ukrainian people. We offer classes for children in JK to grade 8, as well as a beginner/intermediate class for adults.
Building a sense of belonging and community is important to us. Throughout the year, students and parents are invited to participate in our Christmas concert, Pysanka (Ukrainian Easter Egg) workshop, poets' concert, and other fun activities.
